The Greensboro Zoning Commission approved a rezoning for a proposed 288-unit community near Piedmont Triad International Airport:

The zoning commission unanimously approved a 288-unit apartment complex off Pleasant Ridge Road on Monday night.

Berkley Hall Cos. plans to build the $25 million project on land previously designated for industrial development northwest of the Piedmont Triad International Airport.

The commission rezoned the land to allow for the apartment complex to be built…

Berkley Hall plans to build high-end apartments with granite countertops, high ceilings and walk-in closets, partner Mike Murray said.

The complex of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments will have a clubhouse, pool and a fountain at the entrance — a signature feature of the company’s developments, Murray said.
